Finger over the bottom, drain it to one level of microbubbles under the rubber bulb. (Hey, either of those could be left in the combustion chamber for a few hours to make sure your valves don't leak between the seat and contact are!) A lavender touch blends nicely with assembly lube and valve grinding compound. I wouldn't not measure the combustion chamber without breaking the surface tension of the water, or using a safe solvent. PS- let it be known that the water is perfectly capable of leveling out on its own, but the surface tension is what we're fighting with the soap. Robbie also recommends using a smear of grease around the fly-cut area of the head to seal your compact disc against accidental water extrusion. This has a natural hole in the middle where we can add the measurable fluid, and the flatness of it makes the volume uniform.
